Spelling: 802.11

802.11 [1] is the original IEEEEIRE, IE, EDEE, REE, EPEE, ERE, EWE, IRE, WEE, EEO, EOE, IVER, BEER, DEER, JEER, LEER, PEER, SEER, VEER, WEER, BEE, DEE, EEC, EEG, ENE, ESE, EDE, EVE, FEE, ICE, IKE, IVE, LEE, SEE, EEK, EEL, EKE, EYE, GEE, NEE, PEE, TEE, E'ER, AILEE, AIMEE, I'VE, IKEY, IVIE, IDEA, ILEA, RHEE, GHEE, KNEE, THEE, WHEE, NE'ER, E'EN [2] Wireless LAN specification, and
now encapsulates a number of task groups which have made several
advancements on the specification.

Like the now widely recognised WiFiWife, Fifi, Wini [3] standard (802.11b [4]), it
operates in the 2.4GHz ISM [5] band, however it only provides 1Mbps
and 2Mbps speeds (using BPSKBPS, BASK, BUSK [6] and QPSKCPS, CASK, PESKY, QUIPS, KIOSK, CAPS, COPS, CUPS, GAPS, GYPS, KIPS, CAPEK, GYPSY, COPSE, KAPOK, QUIP'S, GAP'S, KIP'S, CAP'S, COP'S, CUP'S [7] modulation
respectively). Many cards and access points are still available
"after-market" (and for very low prices), however 802.11b [8] is more
widely accepted.
