802.15.3 [1] is based on a centralized and connection-oriented ad-hoc
networking topology. At initialization, one node (DEV) will be
required to assume the role of the coordinator/scheduler of the WPANWP AN, WP-AN, PAN, WAN, SPAN, WEAN
(PNC).
In addition to providing basic network synchronization timing, the
PNCNC, PC, INC, ENC, PAC, PIC, PFC, PRC, PVC will also perform admission control, allocate network resources on
the piconet, according a pre-defined set of QoSOS, Os, Cos, Q's, Gos, DOS, Qom, Ros, SOS, SOs, Dos, Hos, Mos, Nos, Co's, Jo's, Go's, Qom's, Bo's, Ho's, Io's, Mo's, No's, Po's [2] policies and the
amount of Channel Time (CT) resources available for data transfers,
manages Power Save requests.
