Okay. Still havn'thaven't, hadn't, hasn't, Haven's, haven's, haunt, Hamnet, Haven, haven, Havana, having, havens, savant, Hunt, haft, hand, hint, hunt, faint uploaded photo yet, but done a scan and I can't
see any MW nodes. So no uplinkup link, up-link, unlink, plonk, plunk, plank, upland, Planck, Opalina, Opaline to the rest of the network yet.

Good news is that I have setup a NeverWinterNightsDefendants, Defendant's, Newfoundlands, Newfoundlanders, Newfoundland's, Fondants, Newfoundlander's, Fondant's [2] 1 Game server
running the DiscworldDisc world, Disc-world, Discord, Discoed, Discorded, Discard, Discolored, Disclosed, Descaled, Discoursed, Scold, Discolor, Discoloured - AnhkMorporkUnkempt, Encamp, Enharmonic, Encamped, Encamps, Encompass, Encamping [3] Module and it is available to
the Wireless community. You will need a copy of NWNNW, NAN, NON, NUN, NWT, AWN, OWN client
(MAC/Windows/Linux versions are available) patched to 1.69 revision to
play on it. I hope to eventually write my own MOD, but as a place
holder I have installed this MOD for the time being.

The NWNNW, NAN, NON, NUN, NWT, AWN, OWN server is running on a Linux Dedicated server.

Finally!. Done and Done. its mounted on a mast and outside the house
(photo's to follow shortly).

Running in Bridge mode only, but its up. Hope to in the next few days
see if it can pickup HVCPVC, HAVOC, HIV, HOV, FCC, HERC, HUCK, HACK, HAVE, HECK, HICK, HIVE, HOCK, HOVE, HF, HQ, HG, HAG, HAJ, HOG, HUG, AFC, CFC, NFC, PFC, RFC, AVG, HF'S (maybe).

Well, okay, my plans are to get this Node up this week, no matter
what (barring extreme weather/lightning stikes), and I will be
offering this node as a pure bridge.

The reason for this is I dontdint, don't, donut, font, DOT, Don, Dot, don, dot, Ont, dent, Dona, Donn, dona, done, Dons, Mont, cont, dolt, dong, dons, dost, wont, Don's, won't have any nodes near by, or (as far as I
can tell) line of sight to another node. So when another Node starts
up near by, I will then investigate and change over to a routed node
option.

Anybody local who wants to connect to it now can do so, grant
yourself an IPIPA, OP, UP, PI, IO, IMP, I, P, AP, KIP, PIP, RIP, VIP, DIP, HIP, LIP, NIP, SIP, TIP, YIP, ZIP, IA, IE, IR, PP, WP, II, DP, GP, HP, ID, IL, IN, IQ, IT, IV, JP, KP, LP, MP from my range accept for 10.10.32.113/114 which are
already taken up.

I plan also to offer a gaming server, specifically a NWN1 server, but
as this would be my first one I offer, I dontdint, don't, donut, font, DOT, Don, Dot, don, dot, Ont, dent, Dona, Donn, dona, done, Dons, Mont, cont, dolt, dong, dons, dost, wont, Don's, won't exactly know how many

Time to bundle up the previous blogging.

20/07/2008

Well, 1 day 4 hours up time, with no error/fault on any of the NIC's.
Seems the firmware update to the WRAP solved all my problems. .

Planning on mounting the mast outside this week!

19/07/2008

Last night after I patched the WRAP firmware to 1.11 (from the
vendors website), I decided to leave the SR2 and CM9 in place over
night. Strangely enough, no problems at all, and thatsthat's, thetas, Thad's, that, hats, tats, Thais, thaws, Ghats, chats, ghats, teats, whats, thuds, theta's, Thant's, Thar's, thwarts, theaters, hat's, threats, throats, Thea's, Thia's, Theda's, chat's, ghat's, teat's, what's, Ta's, Th's, thud's, theater's, threat's, throat's without the the
"iwpriv ath0 bgscanBiscayne, boxcar, buskin, Gascony, Bergson, boxen, Corsican, basking, busking, boxcars, buckskin, Mexican, pigskin, boxcar's 0". So I closed up the WRAP unit completely, and
running it sealed, 2 hours and still going with no error's. I will let
it run for a full 24 hours and see what happens.

If this firmware update fixes things, it will be mounted outside and
running wild some time next week.

18/07/2008
my new CM9 arrived today from Yawarra! the follow list the test on my
WRAP (works is defined as 6 hours with out any PCIPIC, CPI, CI, PI, PC, PSI, PCS, PEI, POI, SCI, MCI, XCI, PCB, PCP, PCT, PHI error)

original CM9 alone Works
original SR2 alone Works
original CM9 and new CM9 Works
oringalurinal, ordinal, Oriental, oriental, Irina, Oriana, iring, oaring, original, Orin, oral, boringly, coronal, urinals, Kringle, Orin's, Erina, Oneal, oriel, renal, Erinna, Oriana's, urinal's CM9 and SR2 fails ( < 30 minutes)
New CM9 and SR2 fails ( < 30 minutes)

So there seems to be something wrong with the WRAP (missing a
capacitor I think. I will contact the makers soon).

In the mean time I will go head with my plans and use both CM9's.

Running all 3 interfaces (ath0/ath1/eth0) as a bridge (with DHCPDHAKA, HICCUP, TEACUP, TOECAP
turned off) appears to be the way I will be going, unless some one
else has some concrete (ie with scripts/files I can just install
directly and it will work).

Also just updated the tinyBIOStiny BIOS, tiny-BIOS, tinnies, Tybi's, toyboys, Toynbee's, Tunis, Tobi's, Tobias, Toni's, Tybie's, taboos, tennis, tibia's, turbos, minibus, Tabbi's, Tani's, dingos, tinges, Tobin's, Nubia's, Tobie's, Tonia's, Tonie's, Tunis's, turbo's, Dino's, Nobie's, Tania's, Tiber's, dingo's to the latest from the vendor. 1.11.
However my board actually looks like the screen shot from the vendors
site (ie only 7 cap's).

http://www.pcengines.ch/wrap2e1.htm

17/07/2008

Well did some more testing, and took out the CM9 and let it run. 21
hours so far with just the SR2 in it and no errors/faults yet
(checking the /var/log/ files for the errors that occur when both are
present). Will try it with just the CM9 in it and run it as well, see
if there are any problems there. If none then its a problem with the
WRAP board and its 7 electroElectra, elector, electron, electric, electors, elect, electrode, elector's, Electra's Caps.

If CM9 run'sruin's, rune's, Rn's, runs, Ron's, runes, Rina's, Ring's, rain's, rein's, ring's, ruins, urn's, Ryun's, rung's, runt's, rum's, Rana's, Rani's, Rena's, Rene's, Reno's, Rona's, Ru's, rani's, rings, Ruy's, rungs, runts, Dun's, Gun's, Hun's, Jun's, Wren's, bun's, fun's, gun's, nun's, pun's, rug's, rut's, sun's, wren's, rains, reins, rinse, urns, rubs, rums, tuns, roans, run, Russ, rues, rune, Huns, Suns, Wrens, buns, duns fine, then it think its the total wattage of the
combined board's doing it. Have ordered another CM9 to use, or for
later experiments.

14/07/2008

After reading the new node howto, I have realised I have to turn DHCPDHAKA, HICCUP, TEACUP, TOECAP
server off, to insure any other bridging/routing servers I eventually
connect to dontdint, don't, donut, font, DOT, Don, Dot, don, dot, Ont, dent, Dona, Donn, dona, done, Dons, Mont, cont, dolt, dong, dons, dost, wont, Don's, won't route my DHCPDHAKA, HICCUP, TEACUP, TOECAP requests to me from all over.

As for the 2nd NICNICK, NICO, INC, NC, NIX, BIC, MIC, NICE, NI, NYC, NBC, NFC, NIH, NRC, NSC, NIL, RIC, VIC, NIB, NIP, NIT, PIC, SIC, TIC, NI'S problem, I found a reference on the MADWifiMidwife, Midwifing, Midwifed, Midwifes, Modify, Midlife, Midriff, Modifier, Midwife's, Midwifery, Motif, Midwives, Midway
drivers page, about doing a "pre-up iwprivupriver, privy, prov, improve, deprive, approve, prav, April, Provo, prove, Prof, improver, prof, APR, Apr, arrive, pref ath0 bgscanBiscayne, boxcar, buskin, Gascony, Bergson, boxen, Corsican, basking, busking, boxcars, buckskin, Mexican, pigskin, boxcar's 0" command that
was supposedly a workaround to this known fault. Well. it extended the
duration of the time the NICNICK, NICO, INC, NC, NIX, BIC, MIC, NICE, NI, NYC, NBC, NFC, NIH, NRC, NSC, NIL, RIC, VIC, NIB, NIP, NIT, PIC, SIC, TIC, NI'S was up, to between 6 and 8 hours. So no
good.

Looks like I have to buy another card that is known to work, instead
of the SR2. I will post on the mailing list for any advice on
known/tested cards with a voyage 0.5.0 config.

12/07/2008 part 2 (see below for part 1).

Well now that I got it all working I am having a fault with one of
the wireless NIC's.

symptoms: after a short while of the WRAP being up (less then 20
minutes, some times as short as 5 minutes), I get the message IRQIQ, IRAQ, IR, IRK, IRA, IRS, IRV, IRE, IR'S
#(number) disabling. and one of the wireless NIC'sNI C's, NI-C's, Nick's, Nico's, Nicks, Inc's, Bic's, Mic's, Nice's, Nicki's, Nicko's, Nicky's, Ni's, Nike's, Niki's, Niko's, Neck's, Nil's, Ric's, Vic's, Nib's, Nit's, Pic's, Tic's, Nikos, Necks, Incs, Nix, Mics, Narcs, Nice, Nick, Nico, Nils, Nibs, Nips, Nits, Pics, Sics, Tics, Nags, Negs goes down.

This was also happening when I first tried it with Voyage 0.4.0 last
year, before it all got mothballed, and I thought updating to 0.5.0
might fix it.

This happens if that NICNICK, NICO, INC, NC, NIX, BIC, MIC, NICE, NI, NYC, NBC, NFC, NIH, NRC, NSC, NIL, RIC, VIC, NIB, NIP, NIT, PIC, SIC, TIC, NI'S is in stand alone mode, (ie step 1 from
below) or in Bridged mode with the other NIC's.

Diagnose: Its always the same NIC. To check if its the port, I
swapped the NIC'sNI C's, NI-C's, Nick's, Nico's, Nicks, Inc's, Bic's, Mic's, Nice's, Nicki's, Nicko's, Nicky's, Ni's, Nike's, Niki's, Niko's, Neck's, Nil's, Ric's, Vic's, Nib's, Nit's, Pic's, Tic's, Nikos, Necks, Incs, Nix, Mics, Narcs, Nice, Nick, Nico, Nils, Nibs, Nips, Nits, Pics, Sics, Tics, Nags, Negs around so they were on the opositeopposite, apposite, opposites, postie, posit, upside, opiate, opposed, piste, opacity, oppose, oppositely, poster, upset, Post, pastie, post of the WRAP.
Started it up. same error, but with the different IRQIQ, IRAQ, IR, IRK, IRA, IRS, IRV, IRE, IR'S number, so I new
it was following the NIC, and not the slot.

NICNICK, NICO, INC, NC, NIX, BIC, MIC, NICE, NI, NYC, NBC, NFC, NIH, NRC, NSC, NIL, RIC, VIC, NIB, NIP, NIT, PIC, SIC, TIC, NI'S that is the problem is the "Ubiquiti Networks SR2". This is the
400w card, which is known to have some problems with older WRAP
boards. But I checked it was made in 2006. (However according to some
web sites, the WRAP should have 6 electroCAP'selectroscope's, electroscopes, electrotype's, electrics, electrocutes, electrotypes, Electra's, electrician's, electron's, electrode's, electricians, electrical, electrons, electroscope, electrodes, electronics, electrocute, electrotype for prePrue, pare, pore, prey, pure, pyre, per, PR, Pr, pr, Pren, Pres, pee, pref, prep, pres, Ore, ore, PE, Re, re, PRO, Pru, pro, pry, PRC, Poe, pie, Dre, are, ere, ire, Pr's 2005, and post
2005 should have 8 electroCAP's, my board has 7.)

If I reboot the board (warm reboot), the NICNICK, NICO, INC, NC, NIX, BIC, MIC, NICE, NI, NYC, NBC, NFC, NIH, NRC, NSC, NIL, RIC, VIC, NIB, NIP, NIT, PIC, SIC, TIC, NI'S may or may not come up,
if I reboot again, it may or may not come up again. If it does come up
again after a reboot, within again less than 20 minutes that NICNICK, NICO, INC, NC, NIX, BIC, MIC, NICE, NI, NYC, NBC, NFC, NIH, NRC, NSC, NIL, RIC, VIC, NIB, NIP, NIT, PIC, SIC, TIC, NI'S fails
again. (Note, if the nicNick, Nico, nick, Inc, inc, NC, nix, Bic, Mic, Nice, mic, nice, Ni, NYC, NBC, NFC, NIH, NRC, NSC, Nil, Ric, Vic, nib, nil, nip, nit, pic, sic, tic, Ni's wasntwasn't, want, wast, waist, waste, hasn't, West, vast, wand, went, west, wist, wont, wost, won't available upon reboot while it waWA, Way, war, way, aw, WAC, Wac, Wat, wad, wag, wan, was, ea, W, w, A, a, wax, VA, Va, WI, Wu, we, TWA, WW, WY, AA, BA, Ba, CA, Ca, DA, GA, Ga, Ha, IA, Ia, LA, La, MA, Na, PA, Pa, Ra, SA, TA, Ta, WC, WP, WV, Wm, ca, fa
configured for to act as part of the Bridge, the entire Bridge would
fail, glad I was that I was doing diagnositicdiagnostic, diagnostics, agnostic, jingoistic, diagnostics's via the serial port to
find this out!)

I check the /var/log/messages and I find the following information:

Solution: unknown. If anybody could advise/help? or if anybody has a
SR2 known to be good that is willing to try mine instead its place
that would be great!

In the mean time the SR2 is not really important (well it is, since
its meant to be my OmniOmani, Mini, Mono, Oman, Omen, Omanis, Min, Mon, Mani, OMB, Ono, Omit, MN, Mn, Mona, ON, Om, On, Domini, Odin, Olin, Orin, Anni, Emmi, Omens, Ami, Oms, One, Own, Uni, Amii, Arni, Omar, Oona, Agni, Oman's, Omen's NIC), but I can use the CM9 for the time
being.

12/07/2008 part 1

Thanks for all the help of the mailing with regards to the setup. I
finally found some good on line references explaining what I need to
do so now my network diagram is all changed. (again, if I have setup
it up incorrectly or if it needs more changes to bring it into line
with MWN, please let me know).

anyway. New design image.

I spent last night for about 4 hours reading various pages and links
about linuxLinux, lynx, Linus, links, Linc, Linuxes, lix, linkup, Linc's, Link, Link's, link, link's, Linzy, jinx, minx, Lin's, lines, lings, Linus's, Lina's, Linn's, line's, lino's bridging which was way more informative, than the previous
search'ssearches, searcher's, searchers, starch's, Sacha's, Sachs's, Sachs, Sorcha's, search, Arch's, arch's, Zach's, sash's, Sears's, research's, searcher, starches, Sears, sears I had done for linuxLinux, lynx, Linus, links, Linc, Linuxes, lix, linkup, Linc's, Link, Link's, link, link's, Linzy, jinx, minx, Lin's, lines, lings, Linus's, Lina's, Linn's, line's, lino's wireless routing or wireless bridging.

Anyway. for any others that might follow in this setup, here are the
steps I performed to get it all working. (I didntdidn't, dint, didst, dent, tint, daunt, don't, hadn't do it last night. I
got a good night sleep before trying this out, nothing screw's up tech
work than a lack of sleep).

I wasntwasn't, want, wast, waist, waste, hasn't, West, vast, wand, went, west, wist, wont, wost, won't getting a false positive from some other network point around

Step 2.

Checking the file /etc/dnsmasq.conf, I found that it used the extra
file /etc/dnsmasq.more.conf, so I just added to that file the
following line.
########start of file append########
dhcp-range=ath0,10.10.32.115,10.10.32.120,24h
########end of file append########

I then rebooted the WRAP. I changed my wireless laptop to DHCPDHAKA, HICCUP, TEACUP, TOECAP
instead of static IPIPA, OP, UP, PI, IO, IMP, I, P, AP, KIP, PIP, RIP, VIP, DIP, HIP, LIP, NIP, SIP, TIP, YIP, ZIP, IA, IE, IR, PP, WP, II, DP, GP, HP, ID, IL, IN, IQ, IT, IV, JP, KP, LP, MP and did a scan and found my new access point and
got an IPIPA, OP, UP, PI, IO, IMP, I, P, AP, KIP, PIP, RIP, VIP, DIP, HIP, LIP, NIP, SIP, TIP, YIP, ZIP, IA, IE, IR, PP, WP, II, DP, GP, HP, ID, IL, IN, IQ, IT, IV, JP, KP, LP, MP issued to it successfully! yeah.

Step 4.

Okay. With that file in place in step 3, I just uncommenteduncommitted, undocumented, uncounted, unrecommended, incremented, unlamented, unsegmented, unmounted, unaccented, unamended all the
lines in step 3 that deal with using "eth0", and I rebooted. And
disaster. Nothing came out, Darn. Had to crack open the Wrap case
(glad I had it in the lounge instead of on the pole out doors) and
connected to its serial port and logged in.
Found the problem, while I had uncommenteduncommitted, undocumented, uncounted, unrecommended, incremented, unlamented, unsegmented, unmounted, unaccented, unamended the line "bridge_ports
eth0 ath0 ath1" I had to comment the line "bridge_ports ath0 ath1"
out. This was causing the problem. Made the change and rebooted.

Great!. this time it worked. all 3 interfaces were part of the
Bridge. Plugged a wired laptop into the the WRAP ethernetEthernet, ether net, ether-net, eternity, Athene, ethane, otherness, Ethan, Thant, event, Ethelind, Athene's, ethane's, Athena, earned port, and

All appears to be still working.

And technically its all working. but...... (see my second update

Well, worked out my network diagram... pity I dontdint, don't, donut, font, DOT, Don, Dot, don, dot, Ont, dent, Dona, Donn, dona, done, Dons, Mont, cont, dolt, dong, dons, dost, wont, Don's, won't have any one to
connect to yet.

I am still trying to figure out the BR requirements for MAD wifiwife, Fifi, Wini
drivers and a Voyage 0.5.0 WRAP. And still havnthaven't, haunt, Haven, haven, Havana, having, Hamnet, hadn't, hasn't, havens, savant, Hunt, haft, hand, hint, hunt, faint, Haven's, haven's got it mounted
outside yet, but hopefully within the next 2 weeks. (any help of the
correct Voyage setup for a WRAP for bridging/routing/etc would be
great!)

I figure breaking the DHCPDHAKA, HICCUP, TEACUP, TOECAP scope between both interface devices to
insure I get some local and remote (as much as posible) coverage.

26/05/2008

Requested a DHCPDHAKA, HICCUP, TEACUP, TOECAP scope today. Ran a Kismet scan of about 270 degrees

last week. Couldn't find any other wireless members (although I did
find a number of nodes).

I hope to have the mast mounted on the house this coming weekend.

I am still having one problem though. After I do a soft reboot (SSH
into the WRAP and do a reboot command) while the device list shows the
SR2 card, I cant find it at all with my Ipaq. If anybody has any ideas
why this occurs please let me know, mainly cause the SR2 card is meant
to be my OmniOmani, Mini, Mono, Oman, Omen, Omanis, Min, Mon, Mani, OMB, Ono, Omit, MN, Mn, Mona, ON, Om, On, Domini, Odin, Olin, Orin, Anni, Emmi, Omens, Ami, Oms, One, Own, Uni, Amii, Arni, Omar, Oona, Agni, Oman's, Omen's and my CM9 for the directional 24db dish eventually.

Well This is me here and I am setting up a new node (obviously).
I had recently purchased in the last month a WRAP2 board, outdoors
box and 2 minipcimenisci, mince, minis, maniocs, minions, manics, minims, minx, maniacs, minibus, minim's, Minos, mincer, minus, minces, manioc's, minion's, nips, minimise, minimize, Minni's, Min's, mines, Minnie's, maniac's, minima's, mining's, Mani's, Mina's, Ming's, Minn's cards to go with it from YawarraAware, Awarer, Payware, Ware, Yarrow, Yawed, Wary, Beware, Swearer, Worry, Wearer, Warier, Weary, Yahweh, Yawing, Haywire, Were, Wire, Wirer, Wore, Warrior, Wherry, We're [14] and using the
CF image "voyage031_512_Eber.img.gz" [15] from their site I had no end
of problems getting the damn wireless things to work! (The OS did boot
up, and using Putty I was able to SSH into the ethernetEthernet, ether net, ether-net, eternity, Athene, ethane, otherness, Ethan, Thant, event, Ethelind, Athene's, ethane's, Athena, earned port)

I finally stumbled over this reference page [16] and everything
started to click into place.

What I will do is document what I did to get it working, including
the testing steps I did on the way, and hopefully post it.

But with all the recent rain I still gotta get up to the roof yet and
find what A/B/G nodes I can see and posiblepossible, possibler, possibly, possibles, passable connect to.
