Spelling: ShroudedSMAConnector

Shrouded SMASAM, SM, AMA, MA, SA, ESMA, SSA, SEA, EMA, SBA, STA, SKA, SPA, SM'S Connectors [1] are the cousins of SMA-Connectors [2], and
provide identical performance.

These shrouded connectors differ only by an extended "shroud" around
the connector making them longer than normal SMASAM, SM, AMA, MA, SA, ESMA, SSA, SEA, EMA, SBA, STA, SKA, SPA, SM'S conenctorsconnectors, connector's, convectors, conductors, connects, convector's, conductor's [3],
therefore making them unable to fully mate with standard connectors.

Shrouded connectors are commonly used on 802.11 [4] gear by BreezecomBreeze com, Breeze-com, Breeze, Breezed, Breezes, Breeze's, Breezeway, Breezier, Breezy
[5] due to America's FCC [6] requirements (Part 15.203) where by such
equipment needs non-standard connectors. Other modified SMASAM, SM, AMA, MA, SA, ESMA, SSA, SEA, EMA, SBA, STA, SKA, SPA, SM'S [7]
solutions to satisfy the FCC [8] requirements are to either use
"reverse-thread [9]" or (much more commonly) "reverse-polarity [10]"
connectors.
